Melasma Face Treatment with Consultation
begins with an in-depth evaluation and discussion about
melasma. Your esthetician will chart your face, noting any issues you want
to get to work on, and this information will be revisited every time you come
in, in order to monitor your progress. Photos will be taken to document
the process so from time to time you can see what has occurred in your new skin
care program. These confidential notes and pictures are never divulged
unless you would like copies sent to your physician. When your treatments
are finished the pictures are for you to keep. The facial portion of your first visit is to chemically signal
your epidermis with new messages about how it responds to heat, sun and
fluorescent lighting. Then she'll exfoliate, which may involve the use of
either microdermabrasion, organic skin peeling agents or ultra sound;
followed by a specialty mask - depending on the degree of pigmentation and
any health issues. Sessions are finished with a melanin suppressing serum and sunscreen.
Every facial will include extractions, hydration, calming ingredients, antioxidants and protective treatments to send you back out into the
