This gives you one less thing to stress about as the event draws near. Consultations are meant to address any concerns you have about your skin, your style, your favorite colors...we talk, we look at photo examples I bring from magazines or models I have worked with, and we design your special Look! On Wedding Day, I will come to your location to prepare you and your entourage for the photographs and ceremony. A bridal skin consultation weeks in advance is advisable in order to determine the correct products to use and which color scheme is pleasing to your expectations. If you have problems with blemishes and discolorations, I will advise you on some esthetic treatments that I can provide for you and home care products. I have much to tell you, so plan on at least 1 hour with me this first visit. Protect your skin and lips from the sun the last couple weeks before your wedding day - it is extremely unflattering to have white and red stripes detracting from the gorgeous gown you spent so much money on! Its very difficult to camoflage this disfigurement with make up. And it will come off on your gown and veil. Do not use lip gloss on your wedding day - if you are spending any time outside on a sunny day, gloss attracts burning sun rays! Never do any new skin treatments at home or salons the week before your wedding (or any other special event, frankly). Nerves, poor diet, stress, and fatigue make your skin sensitive, so plan in advance to be on top of the situation! Know this: if you have been stressed, your skin is very susceptible to the sun and tanning beds.
